Our digital transformation journey began just a few years ago, with a lean, startup-style IT setup, supported by a small service provider focused on core functions like laptop management and user support. At the time, cybersecurity measures were kept simple, reflecting the needs and scale of the business. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come.<\/p>

Today, we stand at the forefront of digital excellence, having transformed our infrastructure into a resilient, secure, and globally connected ecosystem. In partnership with one of the UK’s top IT service providers, we replaced fragmented legacy systems with a cutting-edge network backbone powered by Cisco<\/strong><\/a> , setting a gold standard for enterprise connectivity and cybersecurity.<\/p>

We reimagined our way of working and our approach to communication: every meeting room across our UK and China estate has been outfitted with Webex<\/strong><\/a> devices integrated with Microsoft Teams, turning physical spaces into intelligent hubs of collaboration. No matter where our people are in the world, in the office, at a shipyard, or at home, they now collaborate as if they were in the same room: seamlessly, instantly, effortlessly. But most of all, securely.<\/p>

A defining moment in our transformation was achieving the ISO 27001 certification, a milestone that not only validated the strength of our cybersecurity practices but also cemented our unwavering commitment to operational excellence, data protection, and maritime industry compliance.<\/p>

But our work didn’t stop at infrastructure, cybersecurity, and collaboration. We built a Digital Solutions organisation from the ground up, uniting software development, cloud engineering, data science, and naval architecture into a single powerhouse of innovation. At the heart of this capability lies a globally scalable, maritime-compliant data platform, purpose-built to connect thousands of ships across the world.<\/p>

This platform ingests millions of data points daily, enabling real-time monitoring of vessel health and performance across the fleet. Behind the scenes, advanced analytics and next-generation processing engines turn vast streams of raw data into actionable intelligence driving safer, smarter, and more efficient operations at sea.<\/p>

And the journey doesn’t end there, we’re boldly advancing into an AI-driven future, revolutionising the way our people work, accelerating operational efficiency, and unlocking new frontiers through machine learning–powered system analysis and intelligent product optimiszation.<\/p>

Looking ahead, I am filled with excitement. With the passion, the creativity, and the skills of our team, I am confident that we will continue to push boundaries, embrace emerging technologies, and shape an even more remarkable future.
