Prior to this, Simon served in various senior positions within the marine divisions of Rolls-Royce plc and Kongsberg Maritime, culminating in his tenure as Senior Vice President for Procurement, Planning and Control overseeing deck machinery, electrical automation and control and integrated systems. His work in this area was recognised with the awarding of a prestigious Excellence in Procurement award from Rolls-Royce Group.<\/p>\n<p>Before entering the marine industry, Simon held senior operational and supply chain roles across a variety of sectors.
